Our School

Emmaus has a strong Catholic identity and educates the children in their faith journey. Every day at Emmaus we put the children first. We ensure that:

  • Religion is taught daily and children attend Mass every Thursday morning
  • School policies and practices reflect a strong Catholic culture
  • Staff, students and parents are involved in sacramental, liturgical and prayer practices in partnership with the Parish
  • School’s curriculum is sequential, coordinated contemporary learning in Religious Education, Literacy, Numeracy, Inquiry, the Arts and Physical Education
  • Teachers engage in continuous and targeted professional learning
  • Learning and Teaching resources are widely used for lifelong learning
  • Emmaus is a safe, secure, orderly, stimulating and engaging learning environment that nurtures staff and students’ wellbeing
  • Emmaus demonstrates a commitment to social justice and action in community projects
