Emmaus Celebrates Safer Internet Day 2020
Today, Tuesday February 11, the Year 5 and 6 students with their parents celebrated Safer Internet Day.
Safer Internet Day, sponsored by the National eSafety Commissioner, is a worldwide educational opportunity for us to discuss how together we can make a better internet. A better internet is when everyone feels safe and is treated respectfully. Parents and students reflected on how we can all use the internet for good and to make the world a better place.
Students presented speeches, safer internet pledges and used conversation cards to question parents about internet safety. It was a fantastic morning followed by a lovely morning tea. Thank you to the staff, students and parents who made the morning a great celebration and strengthened our School-Community partnerships.
