On 16^th July, 2.30pm at Sacred Heart Church, the parish community of Sacred Heart, Emmaus and Cana gave praise and thanks to God for the gift of Father O’Reilly’s 49 years of faithful service to the parish.  As a community of Jesus, we celebrated with a thanksgiving Mass, followed by afternoon tea.

Special guests included Archbishop Hart, Stephen Elder- Director of Catholic Education Melbourne, Sisters of St Joseph, Sisters of Mercy and Father’s family.

Father O’Reilly will always hold a special place in our hearts and we wish him God’s blessing in his retirement.
