Grandparents’ Day

On Friday 28^th of July, Emmaus celebrated Grandparents’ Day.  The day is a chance for Emmaus to welcome and involve them in their grandchild’s/grandchildren’s learning.

The day was very successful with the grandparents enjoying the time spent in the classroom and gathering in the hall for a cuppa.

We also celebrate Grandparents Day in recognition of the feast day of St Joachim and St Anne (July 26) who were the grandparents of Jesus.
