Year 4 Computer Programming Lesson

In Maths in Year 4, we are learning about transformations (flips, slides and turns). Today, the 13th of June, we studied computer programming. We all learnt new words such as ‘algorithm’ and ‘computational thinking’. All the grade 4s enjoyed the activity we did. Everyone had a turn at being a robot, and following certain instructions made by their friends in their group. Using cups, the robots stacked towers according to the ‘code’ (instructions) written by their friends. We had so much fun challenging each other with different codes and stacking towers!
