Year 6 Parliament Incursion
21 May, 2019

On Friday the 17th of May, the year 6 students participated in an incursion all about Parliament. Everyone learned lots about Parliament and they taught us heaps of information. We had the opportunity to vote for a leader, using the preferential voting system. We even pretended that we were in the House of Representatives and that we were making a pretend law for Australia. They taught us what a bill is and how it becomes a law. We had a speaker, Clerk, Prime Minister and the Opposition team. We all had a blast, and wish to do it again!
