About Emmaus

Emmaus has a strong Catholic identity and educates the children in their faith journey. Every day at Emmaus we put the children first.

    • At Emmaus Catholic Primary School, we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school.

    • Our school policies and practices reflect a strong Catholic culture.
    • At Emmaus the teachers and school leaders work closely together to collaboratively prepare the students and their families for the Sacraments. This is strongly supported by a whole school focus, as well as by our priest, Fr Maurie Cooney and the Parish of Sacred Heart -Emmaus.
    • Being part of a caring faith community instils our students with a sense of identity, a feeling of belonging and above all, a powerful sense of self worth.
    • At Emmaus, we measure achievement by the emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing of our pupils.
    • We value excellence and expect our students to achieve their personal best in all.
